ADRIANA VILLI

Adriana Villi, was drawn to storytelling and the arts from a young age creating performances for anyone who would watch her even at seven years old. Graduating from York University’s Devised Theatre program which specialized in writing, directing and acting she had the opportunity to create fresh original work for the stage.
Now shifting to directing for the screen, she’s making her film directorial debut in co-directing her first feature film Virgins by Choice. Pulling from her many years in Meisner training as an actor, she’s able to focus on using her instincts to capture the truth of the present moment on screen. Adriana is compelled to share stories where others can see parts of themselves and feel seen, to give a voice to the voiceless and to spread a message of love and hope. Believing that art should transform and uplift the viewer, Adriana brings a unique spiritual depth to any project she lays her hands on.
Wearing too many hats isn’t a problem for Adriana who additionally is a professional dancer with the Hawaiian Dance Company. As a lover of Latin dancing and music, Adriana was honored to play Gloria Estefan in the television series Collision Course. Other recent acting credits include leads in the award winning features Unidentified Female Object and Mary Magdalene in Conversation with Lilian Broca.
Adriana is immensely grateful for the love and support of her family, friends and mentors who shaped her into the woman that she is and have given her the courage to fiercely pursue her passions.
